The main activity of the Laboratory for Chemical Tests is:
– Land Survey and Implementation of Land fertility control
In the framework of the Control of soil fertility, the Laboratory performs:
 Sampling of land
 Land Survey on Basic Chemical Properties:
Determination of soil pH in 1MKCl;
– Determination of the soil pH in H 2 O;
– Determination of humus content and total nitrogen content;
– Determination of the content of CaCO 3 in the soil;
– Determination of the content of light-chain P 2 O 5 in the soil;
– Determination of the content of light-chain K 2 O in the soil
 Recommendation for balanced nutrition of plants based on agrochemical analysis
land for the next 4-year period. Recommendation includes quantity, type, method and
the time of application of fertilizers, both for vegetable-vegetable and fruit-and-
viticulture culture.
-Seeing the content of mineral nitrogen in the soil (N-MIN method)
For the purpose of adequate application of nitrogen fertilizers, the Laboratory for Chemical Tests shall:
 Sampling and testing of soil for the purposes of determining mineral content
the form of nitrogen in the soil
 Recommendation for the use of nitrogen fertilizers (quantity, type, method and time of application
nitrogen fertilizers)

– Participation in domestic and foreign projects in the field of soil monitoring
The Laboratory for Chemical Tests has highly qualified personnel as well as the most modern
equipment needed for work.
